Archerywebshop is part of Archery Service Center, which represents a wealth of knowledge in archery. The CEO, Johan van Dongen, has an extensive background in the sport, as outlined below:
- Born in 1965 as Johannes Petrus Cristianus Maria van Dongen in Vrachelen, Oosterhout, Netherlands.
- Started archery in 1976, focusing initially on Recurve.
- Became a member of the Dutch Archery Association in 1977.
- Introduced to compound archery in 1989.
- Engaged in various experiments with Recurve, Compound, and Bare Bow from 1992 to 2000.
- Started designing and making release aids and stabilizers in 1995.
- Completed the Trainer-A course in Archery in 1999-2000.
- Designed and produced a personal riser for compound bow in 2001.
- Overcame severe target panic in 2002.
- Qualified for participation in WC New York USA in 2003.
- Won a Silver Medal with the Dutch Compound Team Men at the EC Outdoor in Brussels in 2004, setting a World Record score with the team.
- Conducted multiple workshops on compound archery in various countries from 2004 to 2016.
- Participated in 14 international Championship Events (WC/EC/WG) from 2004 to 2008.
- Joined the sales staff of JVD NL from 2005 to 2007.
- Established own retail shop, Archery Service Center, in 2007.
- Initiated the Bare Bow Group Netherlands in 2007.

- Conducted multiple workshops on Archery issues in ALP from 2016 to 2019.
- Conducted the first A-status Indoor Event for Bare Bow in 2018.
- Organized the 1st National Championships Indoor for Bare Bow Archery in 2019.
- Received Technical Dealer Certification for PSE in 2019.
- Pursuing Trainer-Level 4 certification in Archery (course not yet completed as of 2019).
- Appointed as the IFAA DTC Director for Training and Coaching in 2023.
- Achieved 16 Dutch championships in Indoor, Field, and 3D archery from 1977 to 2024.
- Secured 44 medals on the top National podium in Outdoor, Field, Indoor, 25 Meter 1 Arrow and 3D archery from 1977 to 2024.
