About the product

Before the AXCEL® Archery design team went to work on building a new stabilizer, they bought tens of thousands of dollars in vibration testing equipment and spent a year discovering which stabilizers truly reduced vibration and which were just hype. They then set out to discover a way to improve the carbon bar to new levels. After searching, they discovered that several aerospace, cycling, automotive and tennis racket manufactures had started using blending Flax into the carbon layers of their products. Not only did this Flax concept reduce weight, but it offered 3 times the vibration dampening of glass and 20% more than carbon. They discovered that natural dampening enhances product performance by absorbing higher frequency vibrations. Flax composites were stronger and lighter to result in better performance. But they also were proud that Flax is plant-based rather than made from fossil fuels. The CO2 negative fiber was worker and planet friendly!

With a year of data and intense research on Flax and Carbon composites, AXCEL®’s design team developed an advanced properties Bio-Composite Hybrid Archery Stabilizer using natural Flax fibers and Ultra-High Modulus Carbon material. They worked on several wrapping patterns to find the absolute best blend for vibration reduction. The result is one of the strongest and most effective stabilizers that has ever been produced!

Each CarboFlax Stabilizer features one of AXCEL®’s patent pending Kryptós Arc Vibration Dampeners. As our designers tested stabilizers, they also tested vibration dampeners. They soon learned that some product were gimmicks, while others really worked well. They learned that some shapes may have affected the X and Y axes, but didn’t touch the Z axis, sending shock back into the archer’s hand. We are proud that the Kryptós Arc offers superior dampening in all axes …X, Y and Z! The equally spaced ribs around the circumference cause superior Z-axis vibration reduction. The Arc-Shaped Scalloped Rings with smallest diameter grooves in the middle cause superior X & Y axis vibration reduction. Beyond the shape, our strong proprietary rubber material supports up to 10 oz or 283.495 grams of weights with minimal sag. Our Kryptós Arc Vibration Dampeners are the result of extreme testing and come standard on all CarboFlax stabilizers.

Included with each CarboFlax Pro 500 Stabilizers are: Hybrid Composite Technology in 1/2 inch (.500”) diameter for better wind resistance, Kryptós Arc Vibration Dampener, One 2 oz or 56.699 gram SST weight with an one inch outside diameter, One 1 oz or 28.350 gram weight with an one inch outside diameter.
