Beiter V-Box Starter Edition
Beiter V-Box Starter Edition
About the Product
The Beiter V-BOX is the base of a multifunctional dampening system for stabilizer systems. The stiffness of the V-BOX can be modified with the interchangeable membranes which have different properties. The system is completed by weights and compensation spacers which can be mounted with different screws, threaded studs and adaptors.
Beiter Centralizers can be ordered with 5/16″-24 inner or outer weight adapters at no extra charge. But the V-box is compatible with almost all available stabilizer systems. On systems using a 5/16 thread, the Beiter V-BOX can be mounted on the standard thread that comes with the stabilizers, while for stabilizers using 1/14 threads, inner and outer thread adaptors to a 5/16″size are available.

About the Product
What is the Beiter V-BOX?
The Beiter V-BOX is the base of a multifunctional dampening system for stabilizer systems.
The stiffness of the V-BOX can be modified with the interchangeable membranes which have different properties. The system is completed
by weights and compensation spacers which can be mounted with different screws, threaded studs and adaptors.
Beiter Centralizers can be ordered with 5/16"-24 inner or outer weight adapters at no extra charge. But the V-box is compatible with almost
all available stabilizer systems. On systems using a 5/16 thread, the Beiter V-BOX can be mounted on the standard thread that comes with
the stabilizers, while for stabilizers using 1/14 threads, inner and outer thread adaptors to a 5/16”size are available.
How does the Beiter V-BOX system work?
The various stabilizers on the market have different rigidities. Archers may find rods too stiff, and sometimes also too weak. With a
multifunctional and customizable dampening system, such as the Beiter V-BOX, each stabilizer can be adapted to the respective shooters
needs. This customization is achieved with the membranes and their different degrees of stiffness, and also through the use of the available
weights and spacers. This combination can affect not only the weight distribution, but by their inertia, in combination with the Beiter V-BOX,
the entire damping behaviour.
V-BOX, 30-20mm base plate, 2 x 1 oz. weights with 1” x 1/4“ to 5/16“ adapter thread mounted on the rear. 3 x 1 oz. weights with 2 spacers in
front and 34mm thread. Total weight: ~218 grams / ~7.7 oz.
Where should, or can, the weight be attached?
Weights can be attached in front of and behind the Beiter V-BOX. An optimal set up will involve placing weights
both sides of the V-BOX. #5 and #7 membranes can support max. 10 oz in front of the V-Box. Attention: the #1
membrane supports max. 5 oz. The weight of the BeiterV-BOX unit is 1.75 oz - 49grams). As an
example at a total weight of 16 ounces, the weight could be distributed like this: 2 x 3 oz weights and 1 x 1
oz weight in front of the V-Box and 3x 3 oz weights behind. If you want to shoot a less stabilizer weight,
the distribution of the weights can be adjusted by using the spacers. Due to the lever effect, shifting the
weights forward on the screw changes weight distribution and dampening, achieving the desired
balance with less weight than usual! Thanks to the combination of weights, washers and
membranes in 4 different stiffnesses, innumerable different settings and options are
possible.
V-BOX, 30-20mm base plate, 2 x 1 oz. weights with 1” x 1/4“ to 5/16“ adapter thread mounted on the rear. 2 x 3 oz. weights with 6 Spacers in
front and 61mm thread. Total weight: ~320 grams/~11.3 oz.
The four pictures on the right show just some of the countless configurations possible. The last option is only to be used with the X-tra hard
membrane (#7).
V-BOX, no base plate, 4 x 3 oz. weights, with 3” thread mounted in the back. 3 x 3 oz + 1 x 1 oz. weight with 61mm thread in front. Total weight:
~675 grams / ~24 oz. - MAXIMUM WEIGHT FOR THE BEITER V-BOX SYSTEM!
IMPORTANT: Do not choose a too soft a membrane. If you see that the weight is
bending the Beiter V-BOX, then use a harder membrane or less
weight! It is important to use the maximum weight setup only with the
two hardest membranes (#5 and #7). The Compensation Spacer is not
only useful for shifting weight: thanks to the Spacers low weight, you
can use it as placeholder on the threads. The various colours available
can be combined to individually customize your Beiter V-BOX System
and stabilisation! It is important to use the base plate, which is not only
an optical transition between the V-BOX and the stabilizer system, but
provides an extremely stable connection between components. The VBOX has a diameter of 32mm. Base Plates are available in 30 to
26mm, 30 to 23mm and 30 to 20mm sizes.
