How the LYNX Hinge Works:

The LYNX Hinge features the innovative Clutch System, designed to offer confident and consistent adjustment to the moon without affecting the release angle from shot to shot.

Adjusting the Speed:
To adjust the speed of the release, utilize the Clutch System with a 5/64” Allen key. Insert the key through the hole behind the thumb post and turn counterclockwise to release tension on the moon. Adjust the moon to your desired position for speed, then turn the key clockwise to reengage the Clutch and maintain tension on the moon.

Changing the Moons:
Relieve pressure on the Clutch by turning the set screw counterclockwise two turns. Remove the dowel pin to disconnect the moon from the handle, allowing you to flip or replace it with the secondary moon. Ensure the rounded side of the moon faces downward, then slide it back into the handle and reinsert the dowel pin. Retighten the Clutch by turning the Allen key clockwise (avoid overtightening).

Replacing the Thumb Post Mount:
Use a 3/32” Allen key to remove the screws on the handle above the thumb post mount. Replace the thumb post mount as desired, ensuring to reattach and retighten the screws securely (avoid overtightening).

Adjusting the Thumb Knob:
The thumb barrel is fully adjustable for height, angle, and tilt. Use a 5/64” Allen key to adjust it to your preference.

Use of the Trainer Lock Pin:
The Trainer Lock Pin enhances safety during training by preventing unintentional firing while allowing normal release function. Install the pin based on your handedness preference and always ensure arrow nocking and aiming in a safe direction when using it.

Changing Your Finger Extension:
Swap between the two articulating finger extensions using a 5/64” Allen key. Reverse the process to reinstall the desired extension.
